We are a financial institution and have to lock the workstation after a very short period of inactivity. The screensaver option (which is built into Windows resource kits by the way, you don't need to buy this third party) is not an option. So the only solution right now is to reboot a computer or remotely log users off. But our hardware can't handle 2 sessions for some reason, it'll only interact with session 1. Now, Win7 does not have this functionality - logging in while another user is logged in just opens a new session. If the computer is needed immediately, one of the supervisors can come log into the computer from the lock screen - this logs off the current user, and returns Windows to the login screen, enabling someone else to log in. With XP, a user will lock their workstation (or it'll lock automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity).
